TigerCentral is Fort Hays State University's faculty portal. This page provides basic information to assist new faculty and staff with obtaining access to TigerCentral.

The TigerTracks login is used to access TigerCentral; however, new faculty and staff must also be added into the TigerCentral authentication system in order to access it. This occurs automatically within one business day after a new faculty/staff member’s employment record has been entered into the Personnel system. If you are unable to log in to TigerCentral using your TigerTracks login, please visit with your Department Chair or contact the Personnel Office for more information about the status of your employment record.

In order to access specific applications within TigerCentral (such as the Teaching or Advising tabs, etc), the employee must be recognized as a faculty member in the Personnel system. If an employee can log in to TigerCentral, but the system recognizes them as a student (see screenshot below), the appropriate Roles have not been set up yet. After meeting with the Personnel Office, please allow two to three
business days of processing time for this access to be provided.
In order to access information for specific courses, the Department Chair must provide approval (as described below) for an instructor to be assigned to a course. After the permissions are assigned, the instructor will be granted access to the Teaching tab, the applications within, and any courses they are tied to within one business day.
In order for security to be set up for an on-campus instructor to access course information in TigerCentral, the Department Chair should contact Mandy Ricke in the Registrar's Office and provide the Course / Section number and the name of the instructor who will be teaching the course.
In order for security to be set up for an off-campus instructor to access course information in TigerCentral, the Department Chair should contact Sheila McGuire in the Virtual College and provide the Course / Section number and the name of the instructor who will be teaching the course.
No. TigerCentral is not used for approving Advisee schedules. This is done solely through TigerEnroll, for which security is granted following the completion of TigerEnroll Training. When this has been done, an 'Advisor Tools' tab will be displayed in TigerEnroll (as shown below). Within Advisor Tools the Advisor can search for advisees and approve schedules. After grades have been posted to the transcript, instructors can view grades they have entered by going to the Course Roster for that semester/course.
