Set up Firefox in Windows
Open Firefox
Select Tools from the Menu bar, then Options
Click Content tab and verify that
Block pop-up windows box is NOT checked
Enable JavaScript is checked
Click Privacy tab
Select Use Custom Settings drop down option
Make sure Accept cookies from sites is checked

Restart Mozilla Firefox and you are ready to use Blackboard.
Blackboard also requires the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). The JRE can be downloaded from http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
