Teaching & Learning Communities - TLC

Are you interested in joining a risk-free faculty-lead community? These communities discuss, develop, and test new ideas in on- and off-campus education.

Objective:
With a diverse group of 8 to 12 colleagues, improve the methods of teaching, research and support in a risk-free environment.

The Benefits:

  • Share your experiences and research.
  • Network with fellow colleagues.
  • Deepen your understanding of learning theories & learning styles.

Learning Structure:

  • Faculty OWNED and OPERATED!
  • Meetings: You set the time to meet once a month.
  • Open sharing of ideas and experiences.

Community Make-Up:
Any scholarly activity that assists you and your community!

Example activities include:

  • Identify effective procedures.
  • Create learning modules.
  • Determine students needs.
  • Recommendations for improved services.
