Dr. Carl Parker Recognized as Researcher of the Year

Dr. Carl Parker, chair and professor of economics, was named by a faculty recognition committee as the recipient of the Fort Hays State University Researcher of the Year Award. He received a check for $500 which was provided by the university and Commerce Bank of Hays.

Dr. Parker joined the faculty at Fort Hays State University in 1977 and became chair of the Department of Economics and Finance in 2000.
