Finance Club
The FHSU Finance Club is open to all finance and other business majors for academic, community service, and fund-raising activities. The Finance Club strives to assist in the professional, educational, and social development of college students interested in finance and encourages interaction between the business sector, faculty, and students at FHSU. Students in the Finance Club can join the Financial Management Association (FMA) and/or the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

The
Tiger Investment Group has continued to grow since it was formed
in late 1999. The group had 40 initial members and made its first
investment in the spring of 2000. Today the group has 62 members
and is open to all FHSU students who are interested in investing.
Students in the organization invest their own money and as a group
choose which stocks to invest in after a stock presentation is given
at monthly meetings. By investing in real stocks, students gain
practical experience with the stock market to complement what they
learn in the classroom.
