Interested in the business world? Are you good with numbers and figures? Do you enjoy managing money? The Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting is waiting for you.
In today's economic climate, is it more important than ever to have the knowledge and skills to effectively – and ethically – manage money, whether you wish to work with individuals or for an organization. Furthermore, finance and accounting continue to be high-demand careers in both the public and private sectors, and a degree in economics makes you a highly versatile and sought-after employee.
If you are not sure about the type of organization you would like to work for in the future, but you know you have a mind for business, you will gain a great deal of exposure to the many options you have in the fields of accounting, finance and economics through coursework, guest speakers, student clubs, advising and internships.
Choose from three undergraduate Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree programs and a variety of specialized concentrations to focus your studies and explore a particular area of interest more intensely. Also, the department offers two minor programs to add depth to other degree programs.
