Eligibility

In order to be eligible to participate in NSE, you must meet the following requirements:

A. A cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.50 is required to participate.
B. You must be entering the sophomore or junior year (some seniors may qualify).
C. You must be a full-time student and have completed at least 30 credit hours.

If you are a freshman (completed less than 30 hours prior to the application deadline):

You will automatically obtain a "conditional acceptance" until you have completed two full semesters at FHSU. The purpose is two-fold: 1) you need two semesters to meet the 30 hour credit requirement, and 2) your GPA must be based upon two semesters to meet the grade point requirement. At the completion of your second semester, submit an official copy of your transcript to the NSE Coordinator Shana Meyer so that your exchange can be confirmed.

Additionally, applicants must submit an application, two (2) recommendation forms, and the application fee. A letter of parental support is also strongly recommended.
