The Faculty Senate submits the following recommendation:
“Faculty Senate requests that the university administration provide
a copy of all changes made in The Faculty Handbook since January
1998.” [Note: during the discussion of this resolution, the Provost
agreed to provide a list of all the changes from this time forward.]

The Faculty Senate submits the following recommendation:
Faculty Senate requests that, in the event that the university moves
to block grant funding, the Board of Regents use accounting disclosure
procedures no less than those now in use.

Faculty Senate request that the Board of Regents use performance
indicators that are institution-specific. [Note: this is relevant
to the proposal to grant institutions an additional two percent
if they meet identified performance criteria.]

The Faculty senate submits the following recommendation:
The Faculty Senate requests that the Provost’s office keep a “digest”
of authorized changes to The Faculty Handbook. [Note: there
appears to be a general agreement that this “digest” could be in
electronic form. Related to this: Senator Richard Hughen asked
for a list of changes since summer of 2000 and the Provost indicated
that he would provide this. The resolution passed unanimously.]
