FHSU Family Weekend
The following describes the FHSU Family Weekend event that occurred February 6-10, 2013. Check back to this site for information on the 2014 Family Weekend event information.
We've planned several events to help you become familiar with the Fort Hays State University campus. The weekend begins with a Parent Recognition Brunch on Saturday. Afterward, have your student give you a tour of our beautiful campus. Catch some great basketball action as the Tiger men and women's teams challenge the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Both teams are off to a great start this season, so the games should be exciting. Another place you might want to visit is the Sternberg Museum of Natural History. Besides the permanent collections, the traveling exhibits are always worth seeing. If you are able to stay until Sunday evening, join us for the annual Chinese Spring Festival. This fun and educational activity showcases the talents of many of our international students. We hope you enjoy all the FHSU events we have planned and will take time to explore the Hays community as well.
