awards Federal Pell Grants to students according to the information
reported on the FAFSA/Renewal
Application. These awards do not need to be repaid.
The amount you are awarded will depend on the following factors:

for the year in which you intend to receive aid.
- Be a degree-seeking undergraduate student through FHSU.
- Be working on your first bachelor's degree.
- Show a certain amount of need,
based on your Expected Family Contribution from the FAFSA.

| Federal Supplemental Educational
Opportunity Grant |

A Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity
Grant (FSEOG) is awarded to students with exceptional financial
need and gives priority to students who receive Pell Grants.
An FSEOG does not need to be repaid. This grant is awarded on
a first-come, first-serve basis depending upon when the FAFSA
was submitted and processed. |

Eligibility Requirements:
- Complete the FAFSA
for the year in which you intend to receive aid before the
priority deadline of March 15th.
- Be a degree-seeking undergraduate student through FHSU.
- Be working on your first bachelor's degree.
- Be enrolled as at least a half-time
student at FHSU.
- Show a certain amount of need,
based on your Expected Family Contribution from the FAFSA.

| Kansas Comprehensive Grant |

The Kansas Comprehensive Grant (KCG) is a state-funded
program that awards grants to Kansas resident students with
the greatest amount of need. A KCG does not need to be repaid.
This grant is awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis depending
upon when the FAFSA
was submitted and processed. |

Eligibility Requirements:
- Complete the FAFSA
for the year in which you intend to receive aid before the
priority deadline of April 1st.
- Be a Kansas resident student.
- Be a degree-seeking undergraduate student through FHSU.
- Be working on your first bachelor's degree and have not
received KCG for eight prior semesters.
- Be enrolled as a full-time
student at FHSU.
- Show a certain amount of need, based
on your Expected Family Contribution from the FAFSA.

| Academic Competitiveness
Grant |

The ACG is available to first and second year
undergraduate students enrolled full-time who graduated from
high school after January 1, 2005. Students must be accepted
in a two- or four-year degree progame and completed a “rigorous”
secondary school program. Maximum award for a first-year student
is $750 and for a second-year student is $1300. |

- 1st or 2nd year student
- Demonstrate need
- Completed a rigorous secondary school program of study
- (for 2nd year award only) 3.0 cumulative GPA

| National Science
and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant |

The SMART Grant is available to students enrolled
in a four-year degree granting institution pursuing a major
in mathematics, science, technology, engineering, or critical
foreign languages. Students must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Maximum award amount is $4000. |
