The Copyright and Intellectual Property Office is committed to helping faculty, staff involved in online work, and graduate students to get permissions for use of copyright-protected material in your courses, online or off-line. We will contact the publishers and do the paperwork for you. We ask that you please follow these guidelines:

  • To ensure that permissions arrive in a timely manner, please begin early: 2-3 months ahead of time.
  • Fill out the course and title information on your form
  • Give us a copy of the entire document, including bibliographic information and the material that you plan to use.
