ABI Inform Global - A comprehensive business research database that searches over 1,800 worldwide business publications. Many full-text articles are provided for economics, finance, advertising, management, and other business subjects. Non-periodical items, newspaper articles, wire feeds, and dissertations are also included.

ABI/INFORM Dateline - Searches local and regional business publications for information on local and private companies, industry news, and other business topics. Most articles are available in full text and have been written from a local and regional point of view.

ABI/INFORM - Trade and industry news from over 1,250 business publications. Many full text articles are available on companies, executives, products, marketing trends, and other industrial topics.

ACLS History E-Book Project - A searchable collection of over 1500 full-text, scholarly, electronic books on History, Art History, Literature, Political Science, Anthropology, and Religion. Produced by the American Council of Learned Societies.

Academic OneFile - Over 8,000 academic journals, majority in full-text, available in HTML and PDF formats. Hundreds of pod casts and transcripts from NPR, CNN and the CBC, as well as full-text New York Times content to 1995.


Agricola - Describes materials acquired by the national Agricultural Library and Cooperating Institution.

Alternative Press Index – Indexes over 250 alternative, radical and left periodicals,
newspapers and magazines.

Alternative Press Index Archive - Index of journals (1969-1990) covering cultural, econcomic, political and social change.

American Chemical Society (ACS) - Provides over 30 journals published by the American Chemical Socety.. Contains journal titles published by the American Chemical Society from 1879 to present. Full-text access.

America: History and Life - Citations, abstracts, and some full text articles on the history of the United States and Canada. It includes journal articles published in over forty languages as well as abstracts and/or citations to books, book and media reviews, collections, and dissertations or theses. Criminology: Sage Full-Text Journals - 1976 -

Ethnic NewsWatch - An interdisciplinary, bilingual (English and Spanish) and comprehensive full text database of newspapers, magazines and journals from ethnic, minority and native presses. This current database begins its coverage in 1990.

General Science Full Text - English language science periodicals ranging from very general to highly specialized.

GeoRefS – Provides citations and abstracts for geology and the earth sciences. It has references to journal articles, theses, conference papers, reports, books, and maps. Coverage is from 1785 to the present for North America and 1933 to present for international.

GPO Monthly Catalog - Records on all material published by the U.S. Government Printing
Office.

Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL) - Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7.

Institute of Physics (IOP) and IOP Archives
Online access to IOP journals that Forsyth Library currently subscribes to. Includes the current volume, plus a ten year back file where available.  Contains all journal titles published by the Institute of Physics starting in 1876 up to eleven years before the current year. Full text access.

ISI Basic Science Index – Citation database covering the disciplines within the sciences.

MLA International Bibliography - Provides some full text articles, books, and websites for literature, folklore, linguistics, and modern languages. It is international in scope, and coverage is from 1926 to the present. Produced by the Modern Language Association.

Management & Organization Studies: Sage Full-Text Journals - Contains full text journal articles published by SAGE and participating societies. Although most of the subjects pertain to business and management, other subjects such as sociology and public administration are also included. 1947 to present.

Materials Sciences: Sage Full-Text Journals - Materials sciences journals published by Sage.

Media Review Digest - Reviews of educational media and entertainment resources.

Medline (via FirstSearch) – Citations and abstracts for articles in medical journals form all
fields and disciplines.

MedlinePlus – Health information from the National Library of Medicine.

Mental Measurements Yearbook– Fulltext information and reviews about standardized tests.
Military & Intelligence - Over 500 titles and more than 7 million articles with links to related sources outside of the current article: reference books, magazine and newswire articles. An excellent resource for aviation topics.

MinAbs Online- MinAbs Online is the new version of Mineralolgical Abstracts, which is no longer available in print.

Medline (Online) - Citations and abstracts for articles in medical journals from all fields and disciplines.

Music Index – Access to historiographic, ethnographic, and musicological data in all fields
of music.

Project Muse (Undergraduate Collection) - The Basic Undergraduate Collection is a subset of MUSE's Premium Collection.
