Pyramid was platted in 1888 in Lewis
Township just southeast of the Pyramids or Monument Rocks. Pyramid
Post Office was established in 1888. It was discontinued in 1891.
The town of Pyramid existed only for a short time.
The ethnicity of its settlers is unknown.
