The plat for this town site was filed
on September 29, 1880. The town site was located about 14 miles
southwest of Anthony. Both the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific
and the Kansas City, Mexico & Orient railroads came through
the town.
The ethnicity of its settlers is unknown.
