Zenobia
During the years of 1886 and 1887,
the Michigan Township in Scott County was settled. The town of
Zenobia was founded in the fall of 1886. There was a general store,
a post office, a livery stable and 4 residences. The school house
was built in the fall of 1887. The town did not last long; by
1891, it was abandoned.
The ethnicity of its settlers is not
known.
