Robbins Center

The Robbins Center is a beautifully designed 28,900-square-foot building that is home to Fort Hays State University's Foundation and Alumni Association that is situated on the west edge of campus just north of Gross Memorial Coliseum. It is the university's newest building and was opened in September 2007.

Besides being home to the Foundation and Alumni Association offices, the facility features a 200-seat banquet hall (Eagle Communications Hall) with a fully equipped catering kitchen, art gallery, family room, several conference rooms with multi-media capability, a business center with wireless Internet access, and an outdoor garden terrace. It also has a communications room in its lower level where the Tiger Call Phonathon, an annual fundraising drive for scholarships, is conducted.

The Robbins Center provides comfortable space for alumni to gather and relax while visiting Fort Hays State University. Its various rooms are available, for a fee, to community and university organizations to hold events (building policy for reserving the Robbins Center).

Named after lead donors to the building W.R. "Bill" and Yvonne Robbins of Great Bend, the Robbins Center was funded entirely by private donations from more than 1,000 alumni and friends. It is an elegant and multi-functional place that our alumni always enjoy coming "home" to. Stop by and visit us when you can!
