Beach Hall
Beach Hall is home to Sternberg Museum of Natural
History. FHSU purchased this domed structure which was built as a
health club, for $1. University construction and maintenance crews
remodeled the building to house the museum's extensive collections
and a suite of offices for museum personnel. This included installing
features that met Americans with Disabilities Act standards; therefore,
the building is completely handicap accessible.
The bulding is named for Ross and Marianna Beach, longtime friends
and supporters of FHSU projects.
