Lewis Field Stadium
Lewis Field Stadium is named for the second FHSU President William A. Lewis, who
served from 1913 until 1933. The stadium has a state-of-the-art "field-turf"
artificial football field and rubberized track surface remodeled in
2003, bench seating, 1,000 chair-back seats, a two-story press box
and an elevator from the ground floor to the press box. The track
is named in honor of Alex Francis who coached track and cross country
from 1946 until his retirement in 1980.
