Picken Hall
This was the first building to be constructed on the FHSU campus
and is one of the landmarks of the university. It is named after
the first president of FHSU, William S. Picken.
It houses various offices including the Graduate
Office, Personnel,
Affirmative Action, Academic
Advising, Docking Institute
of Public Affairs (an applied research and planning think tank
serving state and local government and nonprofit leaders), Fort Hays
Educational Development Center and the Hays
Language Institute.
The Kelly Center
is located on the third floor.
Several other administrative offices are located throughout this
building.
