Geography/Geographic Information Systems

BS Degree
All Geography majors take a core set of classes, which will prepare them for a career using GIS in business, government, or science. The new program offers three optional tracks.

Informational Systems track emphasizes the technology behind GIS.
Human-Urban-Social track stresses how the technology can be used to understand and address human problems like crime and population growth.
Environmental Resources track focuses on applications in geoscience and biology.
