The purpose of the annual fall conference is to host presentations and workshops designed to enhance geographic education in the classroom. Anyone interested in the future of Geographic Education in Kansas is invited to attend.
This year's Fall Conference will offer anyone with
an interest in geographic education the opportunity to meet and work
with other geography and social studies educators from around the
state. The schedule includes speakers and presenters from around
the state who will outline some exciting upcoming programs and activities,
a silent auction, materials and ideas for classroom use, and time
to visit with other educators. Also, during the conference participants
will have the opportunity to see the benefits of being a KGA member. NEW this
year will be a special awards ceremony honoring the Kansas Geography
Teacher of the Year, KS Geography Student of the Year, and KS Geography
Advocate of the Year.
