Research Supplies and Expenses Mini-Grant Program
Purpose:
This mini-grant program supports undergraduate and graduate students
engaged in scholarly activities. Successful applicants will receive
up to $250 to defray the costs of research. Acceptable expenses
include equipment and expendable supplies.
Application:
Application packages must consist of:
• A complete application
form
• A project description of no more than 1 page
• Letters of recommendation from your faculty advisor and
department chair
Deadlines:
February 15 (for Spring) and September
15 (for Fall)
Procedure:
Each student may only apply once per academic year. Only complete
applications will be considered. Successful applicants will be notified
in writing by the OSSP Coordinator approximately 10 days after the
deadline. A grant account will be established in the student’s
name and the student will be responsible for providing expense receipts
for reimbursement from this account. Students receiving grants will
be required to submit a 1-page report on the use of funding received
to the OSSP Coordinator at the completion of the project or activity.
