A student wishing to change from
non-degree status to a degree program must file
a new application for admission and adhere to
all requirements
specified for degree-seeking students.
Typically no more than nine credit hours earned
in non-degree status may be applied to a graduate
degree program.
The Graduate School will enforce
a one (1) semester limit on enrollment for students
who have not completed the graduate application
process. Students will be allowed to continue
in the first semester in which they enrolled,
but must complete the application process during
that semester. Failure to complete the application
process will result in a "hold" being
placed on a student's record, which will exclude
that student from future enrollment until the
application process is completed. Once the application
process is completed and the student has been
accepted into the Graduate School, the hold will
be released from the student's record.
Note: Some departments
may not allow any courses taken on a non-degree
basis to be applicable.
