of Fine Arts degree is a terminal degree in the Department
of Art with emphases in printmaking, sculpture, photography,
drawing, painting, ceramics, jewelry, and graphic design.
Admission to this program requires 20
slides (5 drawing, 5 studio minor area, 10 studio major area),
3 letters of recommendation, personal statement, resume, and
a 3.0 GPA on last 60 undergraduate credit hours.
- The Master
of Science in Biological Sciences degree in the Department
of Biological Sciences is available for students interested
in pursuing research in biology, botany, conservation biology,
ecology, fisheries biology, physiology, rangeland biology, systematics,
wildlife biology, and zoology. Admission
to this program requires a personal statement specifying the
exact interest area and research area and 2 letters of recommendation.
GRE scores are not required, but preference is given to those
who submit them. Preference is also given to applications received
before March 15.
- The Master
of Science in Speech Language Pathology in the Department
of Communication Disorders prepares students for clinical
certification by ASHA and professional licensure by the Kansas
Department of Health and Environment.
Admission to this program requires an acceptable verbal, quantitative,

by professors or individuals familiar with your academic course

of English is available in both a traditional and unique
two or three year summer program. Admission
to this program requires a 3.0 GPA in a minimum of 18 hours
of English courses beyond the general studies composition courses.
- The Master
of Science in Geosciences degree in the Department
of Geosciences is designed to prepare students to be professional
geologists, earth science teachers, or advanced professional
geographic positions in environmental sciences or geographic
information systems. Admission to this
program requires an acceptable GRE score and 2 letters of recommendation.

GPA on the last 60 credit hours and a score of 850 on verbal
and quantitative portions of the GRE or a 40 on MAT and achieve
a 3.0 GPA or better on the first nine graduate credit hours.

of Arts in History in the Department
of History prepares students for continued development as
secondary teachers, careers as community college instructors,
careers in business and government, entry into doctoral studies
in history, and opportunites for advanced studies for careers
in libraries, historical museums, and societies. Admission
to this program requires 2 letters of recommendation, a minimum
of 20 credit hours in undergraduate or graduate history coursework,
a 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale for B.S. degree, a writing sample
demonstrating research and documentation skills, and a personal

of Liberal Studies degree is a unique customizable degree
with concentrations
available in many departments. Admission
to this program requires 2 letters of recommendation, a personal
statement including background and why applying to MLS, and
an MLS interest inventory.

of Business Administration in Leadership will help you grab

requires an acceptable GMAT or other graduate placement test

- The Master
of Science in Instructional Technology prepares you to assume
a role of leadership in instructional technology settings in

pertaining to Instructional Technology, and completion of MIS
101 or its equivalent or 3 yrs. of documented experience.

of Science in Nursing Family Practictioner program will

with at least one statistics course and one research/laboratory

- The Specialist
in Education program prepares students beyond the master's
level for a school district leadership endorsement by the state
of Kansas. Admission to this program
requires a minimum of 35 on MAT or an average of 446 on the
GRE, 2 letters of recommendation, a personal statement, an educational
vita, a copy of your teaching certificate/endorsement, and a
Master's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.25 for the first 30
hours of graduate coursework leading to the building level certificate.
- The Master
of Science in Special Education program prepares students
in the areas of adaptive or gifted special education. Admission
to this program requires 2 letters of recommendation and a personal
statement.

have an earned bachelor's degree and a minimum 2.5 GPA on your last
60 hours of undergraduate study in addition to the specific program
