National statistics show that students who participate in fraternity or sorority life form long-lasting relationships with friends and with their university, serve in more leadership roles on campus, and, on the average, strive to obtain a higher grade point average. At Fort Hays State University, the Greek community has many things to offer you, including scholarship, leadership, community service, friendships and a place to call home.

As a member of the Greek community, you will also have the opportunity to further your leadership abilities. You may be eligible to serve on committees, hold a chairmanship or become an officer of your chapter. Members of the Greek community participate in projects and events in which each chapter donates their time and/or effort to benefit both national and local philanthropies.

While Greek life is not for everyone, I encourage you to find out about Greek Life and take this opportunity to learn about the many valuable benefits Greek life has to offer!

Sincerely,
