INTERFRATERNITY COUNCIL

At Fort Hays State University there are four North-American Interfraternity Conference fraternities: Alpha Gamma Rho, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Chi and Tau Kappa Epsilon. Interfraternity Council is the governing body of the fraternities; each chapter has representatives in IFC for equal representation.

All of the fraternities have their own chapter houses walking distance from campus. Members are encouraged to live in the chapter house; rent varies per chapter but is comparable to the residence halls. Freshmen members may be exempted from the residence halls to live in fraternity housing.

For more information about fraternities please contact the Center for Student Involvement, 785-628-4664.
