Dear Prospective Sorority Member,
Welcome to Fort Hays State University! I want to congratulate you on your decision to continue your education and in choosing FHSU. As an incoming student you will have numerous opportunities to become involved on campus. One option I hope you will consider is joining a sorority.
The Sorority community will be hosting an Information Night in the Stouffer Lounge of the Memorial Union on August 24, 2008, and then Recruitment will begin on August 25, 2008. The relaxed Recruitment process is a great opportunity for you to meet other students and learn about the aspects of the Sorority community and Greek Life at FHSU. There are two sororities at FHSU: Alpha Gamma Delta and Delta Zeta. Both sororities are founded on the high ideals of leadership, scholarship, philanthropy, service and both chapters highly encourage involvement with other campus organizations.
As a possible member of a Sorority, I hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to checkout Sorority Recruitment and explore the possibility of a very rewarding and enriching experience. Not only will you gain experience working with a diverse group of individuals, you will also be given the opportunities to travel, receive scholarships and pursue leadership positions; all with the support of your sisters and other members of the Greek community.
To register for formal recruitment, please complete the registration form online at http://www.fhsu.edu/greek/ by August 25, 2008, please send a photo and registration fee to the Center for Student Involvement, 600 Park Street, Hays, KS 67601.
