Scorekeepers/Timers
Assist in the administration of FHSU intramural events.
All hired staff is expected to look and act professionally
and is responsible for purchasing and wearing staff apparel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Keeping
score for intramural sports (football, volleyball, softball,
and basketball)

Assist
the director in administration of the activities in the
FHSU IM-REC department
-
Set
up all equipment to start the activity and return it to
the proper place at the end of the activity

Return
scorecards to the office when the activity is complete
-
Dress
appropriately for all intramural activities
-
Be
to your designated working area 10 minutes prior to the
start of the event
-
Attend
weekly meeting
-
Find
a replacement if unable to work at the scheduled time
-
Obtain
the line-ups from both teams and determine the home and
visiting teams
-
Keep
appropriate score in a fair and unbiased way

Field
work preparation
-
Assist
with Sunday and Tuesday activities

Other
duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
Qualifications/Experience
-
Current FHSU student
- Work-study recipients preferred
- Must be assertive and able to handle a difficult situation
with a smile
- Demonstrate knowledge of all FHSU Intramural rules and
regulations

Multi-Tasking
- Hard Working
- Quality people skills
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- CPR/First Aid certifications preferred
Physical Demands
- Light lifting
- Walking and possible running
Work Environment/Environmental Conditions
- Work will include a variety of areas
Hours & Pay
Typically these positions range in hours from
10-20 hours per week. Because these positions are through
FHSU Work Study, the pay is minimum wage.
