FHSU Shooting Sports Club History
The formation of the FHSU Shooting Sports club began
in 2005, and has grown exponentially since its conception. the club
is now recognized as an official student organization on the FHSU
campus. Anyone who currently is enrolled at FHSU or is an FHSU faculty
or staff member can join the FHSU Shooting Sports Club. Dues are
$20 a student per semester. Being a member of the club creates the
opportunity for members to shoot at the Hays City Sportsman's Club
on Thursday evenings, beginning at 6 p.m. throughout the academic
year. The club has grown from its six founding members to more than
50 FHSU students and faculty members who enjoy shooting recreationally.
All club members who choose to shoot on Thursday evenings are responsible
for the cost of their targets and ammunition. |
