FHSU Competitive Shooting Team

The FHSU Competitive Shooting Team has demonstrated significant improvement in its quest to be recognized as a legitimate shooting program.

National Collegiate Clay Target championships Results:

2006: Fort Hays State University earned a 23rd place overall team finish.

2007: In 2007 the team earned a 9th place overall team finish, while earning the most improved team award.

2008: Most recently, the team earned a 6th place overall team finish nationally, while also earning the most improved American skeet team award.

During the 2007-2008 academic year, the FHSU Shooting Team participated in a total of six collegiate shoots throughout the country.

Throughout the 2007-2008 academic year, the FHSU Shooting Team was comprised of 13 competitive shooters.
