Facility Use Policies

All students and faculty must present a Fort
Hays State University ID Card at the Tiger Wellness Center desk prior
to beginning their workout.
The Tiger Wellness Center is available to current
Fort Hays State University Students, currently employed faculty and
staff, retired faculty and staff, and immediate family of faculty and
staff.
Persons 13-16 years of age must be accompanied
by an adult at all times while using the Tiger Wellness Center.
Clean up after yourself. Return all weights to the rack when
done with them. Wipe down equipment with designated towels and spray
solution located throughout the facility.
Limit your time on the same piece of cardio equipment to 30
minutes when others are waiting.
Individuals must wear work-out attire. This includes shoes
with closed heels and toes. Full length shirts must be worn. Pants
with rivets, abrasive zippers, buttons, material, etc... are prohibited.
In between sets, allow other members to use the
equipment while you are resting.
Gym bags, coats, or jackets are not allowed on the fitness
floor and will be placed in the storage compartments available upon
entering the main entrance of the facility, or placed in lockers
which may be rented.
No food or drinks (other than water) are allowed on the fitness
floor.
Small towels are for use on the fitness floor only, and are
not to leave the facility.
Do not attempt to change television stations, only Tiger
Wellness Center staff are allowed to do so.
Remember safety first, if you are unsure of how to use any
fitness machine or equipment please seek the help of the Tiger Wellness
Center staff.
No loitering.
No cell phone usage, emergencies only.
No tobacco products allowed.
Do not slam weights.
Tiger Wellness Center Staff have the authority
to ask a patron to leave the facility if he or she is posing a nuisance,
safety risk, or is threatening in any manner. |
