Master of Arts degree in History with Emphasis in Public History

1. Option A (with Thesis)

Requirements are the same as those outlined in the Thesis option except that students will be required to take:

• Introduction to Public History
• Apprenticeship in History
• 6 additional hours in Public History
• 9 hours of History electives (including 3 credits in Hist 675: Seminar in History)


2. Option B (without Thesis)

Requirements are the same as those outlined in the non-thesis option except that students will be required to take:

• Introduction to Public History
• Apprenticeship in History
• 6 additional hours in Public History
• 15 hours of History electives ( including 6 credits in Hist 675: Seminar in History)
