WEEK TWO---Prelude to War, Part II
Overview
The purpose of this week's lecture and reading assignments is to continue
our examination of several world crises that converged over the 1930s and
precipitated a global military conflict. Also, as a component of
this process will consider the rise of modern Japan, the politico-military
dynamics of England and the USA, and the "loopholes" of the 1919 Versailles
Treaty.
