WEEK SEVEN---Cultures, Societies, & Economies at War
Overview
The purpose of this week's lecture and reading assignments is to consider
the ways in various national cultures and economies affected wartime behaviors
and the conduct of the war itself. Similarly, we will examine the
war's effect upon national cultures and economic development. Finally,
we will explore the ways in which the war changed some behaviors and institutions
and, yet, left other behaviors and institutions unchanged.
Midterm Exam--Will be available
beginning WEDNESDAY, March 8 (9:00am) and remain available until class
time on March 15.
