Students don't miss this opportunity! The Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas Women in Computing (MINK WIC) will be holding a conference Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th in Kansas City, Missouri. The event will be held at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center.
The conference will bring together female students, faculty and industry to discuss the role of women in today's computing and technology fields, share experiences and strategies for success, network, and explore issues common to women working in these fields. The conference will provide an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate women to present a lightning talk, poster presentation or graduate paper. The program will include incredible keynote speakers and a career fair as well as many informative and helpful talks and panels.
Female students of FHSU:If you are interested in going, but do not feel like presenting anything, feel free to still attend and benefit from the opportunity.Dr. Kettani will be attending this conference and is looking for students to attend as well. FHSU will provide transportation, leaving on Friday, October 18th in the AM and return Saturday, October, 19th in the PM. If you are interested in attending, a registration fee of only $25 includes dinner on Friday night, and two meals on Saturday. Also included is lodging for Friday night.
