Computer Networking and Telecommunications

Computer Networking and Telecommunications graduates are designing the communication networks of tomorrow. Graduates may work in engineering, design, support, managerial, sales, consulting, or regulatory positions.

This concentration can include course work necessary to sit for the prestigious Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), and Securing Cisco iOS Networks, Cisco Secure PIX Firewall Advanced (CSPFA), and CompTIA Security+ Certifications.

Graduates may choose to work in major telecommunications companies or may choose opportunities in corporate and government networks, IT support, remote hosting, hospitals, independent telephone and cable companies, education, consulting, ISPs, and many other organizations.
