Kansas Cisco Networking Academy System & Cisco Certification
- Fort Hays State University and its Information Enterprise Institute provides the umbrella for the Kansas Cisco Networking Academy System. Comprised of two CCNA Regional Academies, an Emerging Technology Regional Academy and a CCNP Local Academy, the needs of universities, colleges, community colleges, technical colleges, and high schools throughout the Kansas and Great Plains region are served. Academy students may continue from local academies at high schools and two-year institutions into more advanced curriculum at Fort Hays State University or one of its college or university partners.
- Instructor Training is conducted several times a year. Depending the on the curriculum, courses require between two and twenty-two days. Some types of instructor training can be delivered through blended distance learning methods. If a school or college or cluster of educational organizations have enough demand and desire on-site training, Fort Hays State University will provide such training.
- Instructor Trainees have the option of taking training courses for graduate credit. Respective instructor courses can be applied toward the Masters of Liberal Studies in Informatics, Masters of Liberal Studies in Information Assurance, or the Masters of Instructional Technology.
Fort Hays State University and the Information Enterprise Institute provide member academies with curriculum, instructor training, content support, and quality assurance reviews. The following institutions are member of the Kansas Cisco Networking Academy System.
