Certificate in Information Networking for Criminal Justice

(15 hours)

The Information Networking for Criminal Justice Certificate offered by the Fort Hays State University Department of Informatics is designed to prepare students to work in law enforcement performing information technology related investigation or support.

Courses:

  • JUS 305 Corporate Crime and Deviance
  • JUS 225 Information Age Technology & Justice System
  • INT 250 Introduction to Web Development
  • INT 658 Law of Cyberspace 
  • INT 680 Architecture and Data Communications I

No grade lower than a "C" will be accepted toward the certificate. All courses must be taken for credit. Upon completion of the certificate requirements complete the attached Intent to Complete a Certificate in Information Networking for Criminal Justice and submit it to the Department of Informatics for approval. You should receive your certificate 4-6 weeks from the date of approval.
