Background:

Nicholas got his BSc and MSc in Informatics (both magna cum laude) from the University of Bari (Italy), and he obtained a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from IMT - Institute for Advanced Studies (Lucca, Italy). Both his Master nand PhD theses were awarded by the Italian Association for Automatics Calculus (AICA) as the best technology theses, in 2008 and 2012, respectively.

In 2011, he obtained a Fullbright Scholarship in Technology Entrepreneurship from Santa Clara University (California, USA), where he completed his training from the Leavey School of Business. In 2015, Nicholas was nominated by MIS Technology Review Italy as one of the 10 best innovators under 35. In 2017, he received a prestigious Marie Sklodowska Curie fellowship in robotics and automation at the University of Salford (Manchester, UK).

Since 2009, he has founded four companies in the ICT space (QIRIS, INTACT, Paperleap, and Verso Technologies) and a non-profit organization devoted to supporting innovation; his companies received over 20 international awards (full list available on request). He will be happy to help you turn your idea into a business.
