Background:

Mr. Schartz graduated from FHSU with a BBA in Computer Information Systems in 2002. In 2003, he finished a MBA from FHSU. After graduating with his master's degree, he began teaching in CIS at FHSU. After several years he accepted an international position in management teaching courses through FHSU for SIAS, UIBE, and SNU in China. After two years of teaching courses for the China partnership, Mr. Schartz accepted a position with MIS (changed from CIS) teaching courses locally and virtually at FHSU.

Mr. Schartz is currently finishing his first Ph.D. from Kansas State University in Educational Computing, Design, and Online Learning. He has also recently started a DBA in MIS through Northcentral University.
