Accenture's Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. The Federal Financial Analyst will serve as a member of the Functional Team and will primarily support the project's business process documentation and internal control testing efforts. The team member will be required to gain a working knowledge of finance business processes, internal controls, and Financial Management Systems in support of our clients' efforts to produce auditable financial statements.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred, Finance, Business, Economics, Management Information Systems, Logistics or other related degrees considered
Minimum 1 year of experience in one or more of the following capabilities: Process Design/Re-engineering; Internal Control Testing; OMB-123 documentation, testing and reporting requirements; Auditing and/or Financial Reporting
Minimum 1 year experience with MS Office applications (Specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Eligible to receive a Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Federal Accounting concepts and requirements
CPA, CGFM or CDFM
Federal Consulting Experience
Federal Government Accounting and/or Auditing experience
Understanding of the DOD's Financial environment and operations

Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Self-driven and Motivated
Detail Oriented
