Accenture's Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. The Federal Financial Analyst will serve as a member of the Functional Team and will primarily support the project's business process documentation and internal control testing efforts. The team member will be required to gain a working knowledge of finance business processes, internal controls, and Financial Management Systems in support of our client's efforts to produce auditable financial statements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred, Finance, Business, Economics, Management Information Systems, Logistics or other related degrees considered
  • Eligible to receive a Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Federal Accounting concepts and requirements
  • Federal Government Accounting and/or Auditing experience
  • Understanding of the DOD's Financial environment and operations

  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written or oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Detail oriented
