The Fort Hays State University Department of Information Networking and Telecommunications (INT) offers an extensive array of courses through the University's Virtual College. Students may earn the following degrees in the INT Department through FHSU's Distance Learning:

I work in the Corporate Headquarters and am responsible for all the technology / WAN / LAN / Hardware / Software that supports the OKC Office and 6 remote divisions, which totals 175+ users. I use my 15 years of experienced along with my knowledge gained while completing my Bachelor's Degree through Ft. Hays' virtual college on a daily basis." - Brett Deemer

Students may prepare for Cisco CCNA Certification and earn Fort Hays State University's Internetworking Certification (Cisco CCNA plus 6 hours of Networking Architecture and Data Communications).

How to get Started

1. Apply to FHSU, through the Virtual College
(After you apply and are accepted, you will be assigned an Academic Advisor)

Graduate Students apply by contacting FHSU Graduate School

2. Have FHSU Registrar's Office analyze your Transcripts
(if no Transcripts, skip this step)
3. Contact your Academic Advisor
4. View Open Classes/Class Schedule on SWS
or
View INT Degree Programs (links are above)
5. Contact your Academic Advisor to Sign-Up/Registrar in classes
6. Finalize Registration through SWS
7. Sign On to Blackboard to view your classes on first day of classes
(classes will not appear on Blackboard until first day of classes)

The INT programs are part of the Fort Hays State University educational partnership with the United States Navy. We have a number of students as members of the United States Armed Forces who are pursuing degrees on-line in Information Networking and Telecommunications.

Undergraduate students seeking to enroll for the first time at FHSU, or for more information on admission and fees, contact FHSU's Virtual College. Graduate students seeking more information on enrollment and procedural information, admission and fees, contact FHSU's Graduate School. Distance learning at Fort Hays State University is supported through the university's Virtual College. The Virtual College site provides on-line enrollment, links for ordering of books, and information on technical support for courses. Distance learning students can check on the availability and the status of courses via Student Web Services.
