Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistanships are available for qualified on-campus students. Teaching assistants provides support in undergraduate courses. Benefits include instructional experience, in-state equivalent tuition or tuition waver, and stipend. Research assistanships offer opportunities to perform scholarly work with faculty members. Students may earn a research stipend while working on projects funded through governmental and corporate funding.

Admission

The Fort Hays State University Department of Information Networking and Telecommunications offers a rolling admission allowing new graduate students to start each semester. Admission is competitive. Prior academic succes (GPA) and letter of reference are required. GRE, GMAT, and IT industry certifications, career achievements, and other evidence of ability to excel in graduate work will be considered.
