| The studios at KFHS Radio, located in Heather Hall, provide professional experience of working at a broadcast radio station. Divided into three separate studios, KFHS Radio has a complete On-Air Control Room, where DJ's are able to broadcast live shows from. The On-Air Control Room is equipped with a large collection of music, both in digital format and in CD format. DJ's have the opportunity to work with professional, state-of-the-art audio control boards and a computer with digital music programming capabilities.
The KFHS Studios also contain an Audio Production Room where students are able to edit and produce their own Station Promotional ID's, Public Service Announcements, and other programming activities for the radio station. The Audio Production Room is home to a complete Sound Effects and Production Music Library, audio editing equipment including Digital Audio Software, High-Speed Internet, Remote Equipment with portable recorders and microphones, CD players/burners, turntables and Mixer Boards.
