Radio Studio

The facilities of the FHSU Radio Station located in Heather Hall, provide professional experience of working at a Broadcast Radio Station. Divided into two separate studios, KFHS Radio has a complete Audio Production Room and an On-Air Control Room/News Production Room. KFHS Radio is heard on 24x7 on the Internet, on Hays cable channgel 67 and through the Internet, streaming on Windows Media Player at www.kfhs.net

The Audio Production Room is home to a complete Sound Effects and Production Music Library, audio editing equipment including Digital Audio Software, High-Speed Internet, Remote Equipment with portable recorders and microphones, CD players/burners, turntables and Mixer Boards.

The KFHS Control Room, where On-Air broadcasts are performed; includes Audio Boards, Microphones, Computerized Voice Tracking System, Computer with High-Speed Internet, Phone Line for requests/call-ins, CD Players, Turntables, along with cable TV. KFHS Radio is a BMI Reporting Station.
