The FHSU English as a Second Lanaguage (ESL) center is different from other learning experiences. It is designed to provide maximum listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in a supportive learning environment. You will have fun on the FHSU campus with fellow students from around the world. The ultimate outcomes are for you to become fluent in spoken and written English, to succeed in passing English competency exams, and to be prepared for undergraduate or graduate study at FHSU. You will also enjoy learning about other cultures and traditions as well as contributing your own experiences. Enrollment in the ESL program is available for both undergraduate and graduate international students or as a conditional program for remedial training.
