University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE)
Fort Hays State University entered into a student exchange
partnership with the Faculty of Humanities of the University
of Duisburg-Essen in October, 2008.
The terms of this agreement are:
- UDE will provide instruction, tuition, room,
and local transportation costs for ten (10) students.
- UDE will offer courses in German language and
culture in a 4-week term
- Dr.
Avi Kempinski (MLNG) will lead a group
of students to Essen, Germany and the Ruhr region as part of a summer
course beginning. Students enrolled in this course will be eligible
to stay at UDE for the expenses-paid course in German language and
culture at UDE in the month of June.
