Academic Programs in Justice Studies

Criminal Justice is a multidisciplinary discipline and Justice Studies professionals draw on the expertise of several fields, including sociology, political science, psychology, and others. The FHSU Department of Justice Studies incorporates multiple disciplines to give students the skills they need to distinguish themselves in the field and better prepare them for a variety of career paths, including criminal justice research, law enforcement, the courts, corrections, and private enterprise.

 We have programs for every level of interest and experience, from new college students to mid-career professionals looking to advance in the workplace. We offer a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree, a Master of Professional Studies emphasis, a minor, and certificates.
