About Margaret Miller-Butcher
Dr. Butcher has worked with distance education for well over a decade. She has served as a consultant with the Jonesboro (AR) Municipal Police Department and the Arkansas State Police to enhance recruitment of women and minorities and was also part of then-Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton's security detail. Her academic interests include intercultural communication and crime and the media. Her B.S. and M.S. degrees are from Arkansas State University and her Ph.D. is from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
